"Technical errors" - out of stock

I ordered a handbag on Saturday and paid extra for 2 day shipping only to find out on Tuesday that there was a technical error and the bag is out of stock.

Very frustrating experience as I did a couple of hours of research to find the right seller before going with them.

I will not purchase from The Webster again.

Made a purchase online February 1st…

Made a purchase online February 1st 2022 and the money was debited from my account. I waited two weeks with no confirmation email or order status and decided to reach out once I noticed the opening ceremony puffer vans were out of stock. It took them days to response and despite me having a valid screenshot of both email and my debit account they claimed the photos were not enough proof. WELL DUH!!!!! I didn’t receive a confirmation email or anything and there’s only one The Webster brand so OBVIOUSLY the money was debited and went somewhere but COOL ILL TAKE THAT LITTLE $40 “L” I rather stick with SSENSE or FARFETCH. Where I know for sure ALL orders are correctly processed and are highly assured of competent OUTSTANDING customer service and items are IN STOCK. The snob like attitudes can be left at home for when you return cause the way the store is ran there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to be snobby about. Trust me.

Purchased an item from the seller through walmart.com. Seller sent wrong item and would not replace or refund.

Fake bag…

I received an YSL wallet bag from them and it came without the authenticity card and it was poorly wrapped in a wrapping paper with a sticker that has your shop logo ( that it) no hardware protectorstickers, the metal handle wasn't wrapped, the logo on the front of the bag wasn't shiny and clean as if the bag has been used before! .. I even wonder now is it an authentic bag or not!
That was really unpleasant experience .. save your money( fake products).

Awful experience

Awful experience!

Bought two sizes of one jacket, order was rejected because payment can't be verified while two transactions already pending on my bank account.

Tried to use another card to buy one size, order accepted but again rejected one week later, because it is out of stock.

What a joke, completely waste of time. Customer service is disaster and if you don't wanna do business, then close your store.

BEWARE

Bought a pair of Fendi jeans. I guess they run small in size so I sent them back EXACTLY the way I received them. On top of that I bought another pair,larger size. First pair return was rejected, stating that Webster tags and security loop was missing. They sent it back to me with ALL tags removed . What kind of store is that?!

I agree that their customer service is…

I agree that their customer service is terrible. It would seem as if they do not want you to buy anything from them, as they provide no assistance when you try to purchase an item.

Beware

Beware! I'm not sure what their customer service was like pre-covid 19, but I can attest that it is awful now. My interactions with The Webster store post sale have been confusing and frustrating. Their toll free number and live chat options were unavailable so the only way to reach them is by email and wait for a response. Also, their customer service representatives who respond to your emails will not identify themselves so you never know who you're talking to. My odyssey started because I had a problem with the Gucci bag that I ordered from their final sale section. It was shipped with no Gucci box or dust cover. My bag was wrapped in tissue paper with bubble wrap around the edges of the card board box it came in. I contacted customer service to ask about where the Gucci box and dust bag (I also asked about a strap) were. Their customer service representative said that their packaging job was not up to their usual standards. I was asked to send pictures which I did. I was then offered 10% off my next purchase for the inconvenience I suffered, which made no sense. There was already a coupon for 10% off my next purchase in the box I received so I was essentially offered nothing. Let's not forget the fact that my first purchase didn't go as planned, so it was premature to assume that I would make another purchase. They also neglected to answer my questions about the Gucci box and dust cover so I had to contact them again. After exchanging a series of emails about the Gucci box and dust cover, I learned that both were missing (They did overnight me a Gucci shoe dust cover which obliviously did not fit my bag). I asked for an additional mark down on the sale bag I purchased (since it did not come with a Gucci box or dust cover) or that I be allowed to return the bag. I was offered 5% off by The Webster customer service representative. I asked for a 20 % off discount which was denied. Out of frustration, I asked that my request be forwarded to a supervisor. My request was denied again so I sent the bag back. I will not be shopping with The Webster again. Spend your money someplace where customer service matters.

Atrocious customer service!

Atrocious customer service!! Please make sure that you will not even think of returning anything. I was told I could return things if they did not fit my wife and some didn't. When I went back, they refused to take it and actually called me a liar for saying that they had said that it was returnable! SHAME!!

They will mark something on sale

They will mark something on sale. Then the link will direct you to email the client team full of useless liars ppl who don’t really care about the customers. So,save yourself time n money and please go buy at Josephstore or Italist !
